Leo Cardetti, patriotic Rosati native and former owner of Leo Cardetti's Flags & Flag Pole Co. in St. James, Missouri, celebrated his 80th birthday in style at his favorite fine restaurant, Sybill's Saint James, on a chilly January 2009 evening. Niece Linda Turner planned the event for Leo and 25 friends, successfully keeping it under tight wraps. Lois Ann surprised Leo right after dinner -- not by popping out of his birthday cake, but through a curtained doorway where she had been waiting in the wings, ready for her opening song, Hey, Big Spender. Lois Ann sang the night away (and danced to That's Amore with Leo!) as friends and family members wished Leo many more happy years and wonderful memories. (St. James icon Leo Cardetti passed away on March 13, 2010. Rest in peace, dear friend.)

“Watching Lois Ann perform is a real joy. Her versatility in style is amazing. A little country, a little jazz, a little blues with some classic rock thrown in the mix..... Wonderful!”
