Residents and their families, staff and members of the community welcomed Lois Ann with open arms for her performance of "A Tribute to Love" on April 7, 2009, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Missouri. Her visit coincided with their 24th anniversary celebration. The local newspaper, Mexico Ledger, covered the event, and staff writer Brenda Fike graciously shared photos.
